2010 Season

The teams below have committed to play in the NFL in 2010 season. Still looking for teams that want to play against the premier softball league in Western New York.

The next NFL meeting will be held 2/1 at MacGrueders @ 7:00PM.

Just a quick recap on the 2/1 meeting and a look forward for the rest of 2010.

   

Amended By-Laws as follows:

 

  1. Terms reduced from 3 years to 2 years.
  2. Allowed more than one member per organization to serve on the board; however, only one member per organization can serve on the executive board (President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary).
  3. Removed 2 year board service requirement for Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary. Currenlty the only board service requirement is 2 years on the board in order to become president.

10U Coordinator – Anthony Alleca

14U Coordinator – Joyce Maziarz

16U Coordinator – Jack Hess 

 

Upcoming Meeting Schedule

     

3/1 @ 7PM - At MacGrueders, $300 payment due (Bring to $700 level). Scheduling continues.

 

4/12 @ 8PM - At MacGrueders, $200 payment due (Bring to $900 level includes $100 escrow). Scheduling continues

 

5/3 @ 8PM - At MacGrueders, Scheduling completes, game balls distributed.

X-Treme offers an in door batting facility & gyms for practice all winter.
 12U Eagan-Looking for 1 utility player, born 1998.  2010 season will consist of-Shalens in door league March & April, 8 tournaments, plus league play.

The 16U West Seneca Magic is looking for 1 player with infield/outfield experience to complete our 2010 roster. We will be playing in the NFL as well as playing in 7-8 tournaments including out of town tournaments. We also have a indoor facility that we work out in all winter. Salem's Sport Park

Sahlens Sports Park Information

1. The Winter League starting date is Sunday, January 3rd. Dates to fallow are
Sunday, January 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st, February 7th, 14th, and 21st.

2. Session times will begin at 9AM and fallow as 10:30AM, Noon, 1:30PM, 3PM,
4:30PM, etc. (Depending on the amount of teams interested, we may have to go to
an 8AM start time)

3. Sessions are 85 minutes. When the buzzer sounds the game ends and fields
must be cleared immediately.

4. At this time two fields are available. Only 4 teams can play per 85 minute
session.

6. The March and April session starting date will be Sunday, February 28th.
Dates to fallow are Sunday, March 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th, April 11th, 18th, and
25th. Easter Sunday, April 4th will not have a game.
